BIOGRAPHY - JESSIE. S. WHITE - BA

Jessie White was born in Buckie, Moray. Scotland in 1944. Her early interest in drawing and painting was finally realised in 1998 when she started studies for her BA in Fine Art at Moray School of Art in Elgin.

Known locally for seascapes, she has given demonstrations to local art groups, painted and travelled in Europe and South America.

Her style is expressionistic with a tendency toward abstraction and her preference is to paint a la prima outside, on site, usually working impasto in oil.
